Oh my gosh....Michelle, I am sitting here shocked and in tears. I just found you through the Blogger's Choice Awards when you voted for me (thank you for that) and came here to check out your blog.
I never thought I'd read something so tragic. My heart is so broken for you. :(
Ironically, and I know this doesn't compare, I was at my (step)FIL's bedside February 28th into the morning of March 1, as he passed away. I watched my MIL lose the love of her life and I'll never forget it.
I am just dumbfounded to find that this happened to you, right around the same time.
And today is my 18th anniversary with my husband. I read on your husband's blog that you all had just celebrated your 18th, too, and it was like a punch in my stomach to read that.
As I've learned, there are no words that anyone can say at a time like this. "I'm so sorry," "You're in my thoughts and prayers," etc. get said so many times that they begin to sound hollow.
But...you WILL be in my thoughts and prayers. And I am so truly sorry. I wish there was something I could do to help you. :(
